What we collect, and why.

Prompxiety is a small, independent project. We keep data collection minimal and never sell it. Here's exactly what happens.

The self-check quiz

When you complete the self-check, we store your answers, your score and severity band, and — if you add one — your optional “symptom in 3 words.” This is tied only to a random, anonymous session identifier kept in your browser. We do not ask for your name or email to take the quiz. We use this in aggregate to understand how the tool is used and to improve it. Your individual result is never shown publicly.

Nominations

If you nominate someone, we store the name, email, and LinkedIn URL you provide. In this phase nominations are private— collected for review, not published. We'll only use the email to let you know when the community stories wall opens. No spam; you can ask us to delete it anytime.

Basic analytics

Like most websites, we log basic interaction events (page views, quiz steps, shares) along with your browser's user-agent and referring page, tied to the same anonymous session id. If analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics or Plausible) are configured, events may also be sent there. We don't build advertising profiles.

Where it's stored

Data is stored in a Postgres database (Neon, via Vercel) and is accessible only to the project owner. It is never sold or shared with third parties beyond the infrastructure providers needed to run the site.

Not a medical service

The self-check is adapted from the GAD-7 anxiety screening scale (Spitzer et al., 2006) as a self-reflection tool. It is not a medical diagnosis. If anxiety is affecting your daily life, please talk to a qualified professional.
